San Diego Saves encourages individuals and families to build wealth through personal savings and debt reduction. We offer the following services and resources:

“You Can Build Wealth” Workshops

The primary way San Diego Saves reaches potential savers is through free motivational workshops offered in cooperation with local groups and agencies, including employers, labor unions, professional organizations, faith-based groups, service clubs, schools, social service agencies, and others. Trained volunteer speakers and wealth coaches lead 30-60 minute interactive presentations about wealth-building, including goal-setting, saving strategies, “finding” money to save, and the importance of debt reduction. Speakers do not promote any financial institutions or products.

San Diego Saves motivational workshops are ideal for brown bag lunches at work. Call (858) 694-2850 to arrange a free workshop for your employees, parishioners, or members.  

Wealth Coaching

Trained volunteer Wealth Coaches assist potential savers to set savings goals and develop simple financial plans to reach their goals. They can explain about the no-fee savings accounts offered to those who enroll as San Diego Savers, and also refer them to reliable sources of financial information, financial education opportunities, and other community resources.
